Jewelry designers use their artistic ability to create new designs for various types of clients and markets. They may design the jewelry according to the specification of individual customers.

They either work on their own or freelance. Employment can also be found with big export or jewelry designing houses or in small exclusive set ups. To identify whether you have right interest and aptitude to be a jewelry designer you are advised to get your psychometric assessment done. The psychometric assessment involves assessing the aptitude, interest and personality of the student using standardized psychological tests.
