To start with let me first introduce you to myself and about my back ground, I did MBA in finance from IIM Shillong and currently working as a financial analyst in a private company, before that was working in a govt company after competing my btech from nit bhopal, having a working experience in corporate and so many things moving around me I think i can relate to your query and can provide an answer for it.

coming to your query about the earning prospects in next five year as security analayst I would like to say it is very high and with good increments too. it is very good career option having lot many opportunities now a days with the huge demand and supply gap in the market currently.You can really earn well if you ask me the earning perspective in this line.

The average pay oof a average security analyst is between four to five lakhs per annum, but gradually with experience and ideas you can even move very high in the ladder of career path in this line with a good pay and position too.the highest pay package offered in this line is to the person having skills associated with job of security risk management and information security and infra structure, the rate of job satisfaction in this line is also very high or we can say four out of every five person working as a security analyst is hihgly satisfied witthe job and pay he is getting.But again pay will vary from position to position, company to company, place to place , sector to sector like public or private etc, there always lies a geographical difference in pay package based on inflation and cost of living of that area etc.
with the growing cyber attacks the demand for a security analyst is also growing rapidly, now in current market condition almost all companies are hiring a security analyst to secure their company data, information, network etc from theft and to maintain confidentiality.

with a strong hold on the subject and command on your work you can move high in the ladder of your career path and can earn also a very high pay package, to add on this I would like to suggest to do some related course like CISCO certification which will add to your resume and will give you a good hike and peference too
