In order to make a career as a PO officer in SBI one needs to give an exam of SBI PO.One who aspires to make a career in the rest of the Government Nationalised Banks i.e 21 Banks for that they need to give an IBPS PO exams. On clearing the written test and interview if the candidate clears the exams then they can join the SBI banks.
As SBI is a centrally government owned bank definitely the career is safe and secured career option. SBI is the first option in the students mind where they wish to make their career.
The salary offered to fresher who is appointed as an SBI PO officer gets an salary of Rs.16,900 per month and are given 4 increments .
