Warm to all the readers at CareerGuide.com. Health is wealth. Everybody has heard of this saying often by many people. Today people are more prone to disease because of the fact that eating habits have taken a drastic change. People fall ill, and to cure them doctors are required. Medical has become the new streaming profession and is evergreen. It has a huge demand in the market because of the fact that more and more people are falling ill. This is a bad sign as swell as a positive one.

Medical obviously is a costly course but the kind of employment and status it offers is commendable. Dreams of many medical aspirants are shattered just because of the support and fees their family cannot manage. For medical, generally, government colleges are preferred because they are highly funded by the government and have less fee. Moreover, they have high credibility and also cut off in government colleges is high.

STEP 1
Work hard to earn a bachelor's degree.

First and foremost step to become a doctor is to attain basic education. A bachelor's degree is a must to carry on with the doctorate profession. It is very important to have a strong and stable base if you wish to pursue higher education in the same field. Be honest with yourself and study hard because medical education is a bit costly. Do not let the money and earning of your parents go waste. Make them proud.

STEP 2
Give various Medical College Entrance Test (MCET)

Coming to the second step, MCET examination should be given by all the aspiring doctors. This examination is the criteria on which one will get admission in a good college for post graduation. Apply for every entrance exam you can so that you have a choice between the college you wish to go to. It is very important to also keep checking the last date to fill in the forms. It is held only one time in a year.

STEP 3
Earn a Post Graduate degree

Once you clear an entrance test and get into a college for Post Graduation, your job prospects improve. When you do post graduation you are assumed to have specialized knowledge, which will help you have an edge over others. Post graduation is basically specialization into the field of your interest. Be very wise while selecting the field because it will mold your career accordingly. Medical education is a must before applying it to any patient. Doctors must have full knowledge about whatever operation they are performing. One cannot risk a life of the person it is very precious. Therefore, the wise decision is PG is important because this will be late your specialized profession.

STEP 4
Earn a legal license

After completing Post Graduation degree, you need to have a license. You need to prove your worth and earn the license so that you can practice on your own, open up your own clinic or get recruited under any hospital you wish to. Getting a license is a very important thing. Practicing without a license is an offense and you can be penalized.

To become a doctor is not an easy task. It takes years of hard work and dedication to reach a high level. One needs to be patient and consistent while preparing for medical studies. Alos one need be strong to see the problems of the patients and act wisely to solve them. Do not rob people of their wealth. Only charge the required amount and treat them as soon as possible. Do not make people's life a business. Be true to yourself, God will be true to you.
