The Bachelor of business administration (BBA) is a bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration. It usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific concentrations. BBA is a trendy course these days. This degree aims at providing fundamental education in business and management principles. This general management course cover basic topics like HR management, organizational behavior, business communication, accounting, retail management, and supply chain.

For making your future bright, you should pursue basic computer courses to learn MS Office, MS Excel and MIS (management information system), knowledge of these will help you to become more efficient in this field. There are certain things you should get in habit of, such as reading business newspaper also you should always participate in Intra and inter-college fests, one should always join college societies, this will help in making your C.V strong and will help to ensure success in your future life. There are many short or side courses you can opt for while doing BBA:

  • Event management
  • Mass communication
  • Animation
  • English speaking and written course

This will enhance your skills to become a better professional tomorrow

Once done with BBA, You may do a job if you are getting a good placement with the desired salary package, you should definitely take that job, and it will be one of the best things to do after BBA. You can start up your own business if you are innovative; have a superior idea and an excellent team to work with. There are many companies nowadays that are funding start-ups. You can even ask your family to fund some money for your business. Another option can be to do CA, you can put in your precious time in studying in order to crack it and become a Charted Accountant. Apart from this, if you have no idea why you did BBA, you can gain knowledge of a new language. Learning new languages is always a viable option. It will also help you if you are planning to move abroad. You can take a TOEFL or ILETS exam not to miss the chance to go abroad.

The other best option is MBA which is masters in business, it is considered as one of the most valuable posts graduate degree. So, it is a good choice to opt for MBA course as you will be imparted all kinds of skills needed to be successful, the doors of the industry will be open for the students, but there are many students who don’t want to go for MBA because of some reason or the other so the other options apart from MBA are:

 

 

  • You can do some professional courses like ICWAI, CA, etc
  • If interested in bank jobs, you can take up bank examinations
  • Can apply for UPSC exams like IAS
  • You can join a firm and go for MBA correspondence
  • Can get jobs in different sectors like human resources, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, etc.
  • Masters in TourismManagement
  • Bachelor of Education (B.ED)

You can even take home tuitions; you can guide students about entrance test and teach them BBA subjects etc. you can also secure your job as a teacher/ lecturer for BBA in any college. You can even work in the tourism sector as well as in medical sector if you choose tourism sector you get the advantage of traveling while working. Other than taking up an office job, BBA graduates may also choose the path of entrepreneurship. There are numerous options of career after completing BBA.

The scope of BBA: BBA degree opens more job opportunities than any other degree. BBA graduates can even look for jobs in sales and marketing department of companies as members of sale teams or as management trainees. After completing BBA, you should always think about expanding your perspective in order to meet the requirements for top management positions and promotions.

Salary is also good in this field. One can earn 12,000-18,000 per month. All this depends on the firm which hired you, its stock, value, your job position, your learning criterion and your talent.
