CA is a top most preferred career option in the commerce filed. The role of the CA is to audit the books of accounts and also deals with the taxation. They have a great career opportunities in the Industries. CA is one of the noble and respected profession in the society. Every there is a huge requirement and scope for the CA in the industry. There are 50000 CA's required in the industry.
In order to make a career in this field it do not matter from which stream you are coming. Many students theytake an admission for the Science and than they decide to go for the CA. The difference of having a commerce stream is that it helps you to understand the subjects related to commerce as CA is a commerce field career otherwise a science student can also take an admission for CA.
In your case you need to a registration to the ICAI chapter nearby to your place and you need to give an CPT exam which is qualifying exam for CA course. After completing CPT you get eligible for the IPCC Course Group I and II. With IPCC group you need to undergo 3 years of article ship and 100 hours of IT Training . On completing all these and passing both the IPCC groups you get eligible for the CA Final Group I and II.
Once you clear your CA final group you become a certified CA from the ICAI and can start your own practice or can take up a job.
