Dental health is an essential part of the overall health system . With modern lifestyle , dental problems are becoming common among all sections of the society. Additionally , improper dental care also creates problems like early tooth falling, tooth decay, enamel loss etc. All these problems require proper suggestions of dentists to keep teeth healthy and fit for a long time. Being a branch of medical science, dentistry deals with maintaining good oral hygiene and a better set of teeth. As he concepts of oral hygiene and other health implications are catching up, this branch is coming of the age. So dentist these days are assuming very important role in the whole health care system. Dentists helps in preventing and treating diseases related to the oral cavity, including the floor of the oral cavity, the rood of the mouth, teeth, gums, tongue etc. He can actually craft our teeth in such a way that we can get that dimpled or gummy smile. Surgical, medical and other forms of treatment are a part of dentistry as they are with other medical branches. Dentistry also includes cosmetology, in which corrective treatment is done i.e. stained, cracked or broken teeth can be restored to their original form.
