The demand for creation of various kinds of work and living spaces is rising with increasing corporate activity and increasing pressure of population, enhancing the need and importance of interior designers. Availability of improved and new materials are giving interior designers better opportunities to explore their creativity . They are blending the traditions with the modern, keeping client preferences in mind to create striking interiors. Demand for space to live in , to work in , to conduct business in , for recreation or for any other purpose , far outstrips the supply and thus gives rise to an acute need for better and optimal utilization of space. Interior designers are the best people to serve this need. Interior designers may work with architectural firms, with builders/ developers or in design consultancy firms
. The government, defense services and the public sector are also employers. Interior designers who constantly update their knowledge of techniques and materials and emerging trends and tastes are always able to stay on top.
