Good question.

Since this a computer rather a techno savvy world, most of the youngsters are looking out for careers related to computers and so on.
Just would like to ask you, if you have chosen the career based on your own interests or are you following the trend. If by yourself then good, but if following a trend, it would be advisable to rethink and choose based on your skills and potentials.
As mentioned earlier, this field is related to computers. It is an IT related field.
For a career in IT, after Xth, you would have to choose commerce, few colleges offer IT as a subject, if not then Math is compulsory.
Post XIIth, you would have to clear the entrance exam and you could choose either B.Sc IT or BCA program, which is a 3 years program.
Post Graduation you can opt for a masters program in MCA, which again requires you to clear the entrance exam, which is a 3 years course and has many students applying for the course.
Or you could opt for a management degree in IT or Computer Sciences. Mostly all management colleges offer IT Management, which would be a 2 years program, for which you would have to clear the entrance exam again.
As an IT professional, any IT industry or software organization is open for you.
Your major role includes project managements, plan and coordinate different operating systems in an organization, software management and programming.
Wish you all the very best....
