Usually, we go to a doctor whenever there is a health issue, he/she prescribes some medication and after taking them for 1 or 2 days, one can easily notice symptoms going away and feeling right as rain, but how many of us are aware that western medications have severe side effects on our body. The eligibility to apply for admission is 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized university. The duration is of 5 and a half year including one year of internship similar to another medical course. To get admission it is mandatory to clear NIH BHMS examination.There are several other authorities that conduct BHMS entrance exam such as:

After years of experience, one could open his/her own pharmacy as well.

 

Remuneration

Starting salary for a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is between 8k – 10k. While aprofessor in homeopathic college could earn a bit better. One could earn more in well reputed private sectors depending on the work and efforts he/she puts in. Setting a pharmaceutical company is even more remunerative than other jobs.
