But please note, Psychometric test are purely reasoning based test, that are not subject based. The test has no questions related to what you study like science or geography. Thus there are no books and hard and fast rules that can help you clear the test. Also please note there is no concept of clearing the test. There is no cutoff score. What you solve correctly in a given period of time is your score which is then converted into percentile.
The psychometric test mainly are reasoning based test focusing on your logical, creative, visualization aptitude. These aspects cannot be taught, they develop on their own.
When you appear for such test go with an empty mind and not with loaded baggages. Each tests have different instructions followed by sample question, which the instructor would help you out with.

Psychometric tests are not meant to be cleared, passed or failed. They are meant to be given sincerely and that too WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT so that mean the very thing comes in your mind after reading a situation or a question, you jot it down in the available options given.
Also It will not only help you know your clear path for which intension you participated in the test but also will guide you in your intellectual, personality and interest level.
So basically these tests have a mix of questions- easy, hard and moderate questions.
