The career in Banking is an secured and safe career considered . Banking as a career is the first choice of preference of the commerce students . The Mandate policies like Financial Indclusion of the Rural areas has been one of the boosting factor for the development and flourishment of the Banking Sector. There are many career opportunities in the Banking Sector as an Clerk.PO,IT Officer etc.

If you are planning to make a career as Bank PO , its one of the higher post offered in the Banking Sector . There are two Bank PO exams conducted i.e the candidates who desire to make a career in the SBI Bank PO they need to give an exam of SBI PO whereas the candidates who aspire to make their career as PO in the rest Government Banks i.e 21 Banks for that they need to appear for the IBPS Bank PO exams.

The eligibility criteria for IBPS PO and SBI PO exams is as follows-

1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any stream from a recognised university.

2.Should be an Indian.

3.Age- 20 to 30 years; 5 years relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for the Disabled person.


You need to apply the exam of the Bank PO. The exams for SBI PO are conducted in three phases 1. Preliminary examination,2. Main examination 3. Group Discussion and Interview.

IBPS PO exams are conducted in two stages- 1. Common Written Exam (CWE) and 2. Interview

There are limitation to attempt the SBI PO exam.
