After graduating in engineering, you wish to pursue Psychology. Why a sudden shift?.
As far as I know to study psychology abroad one needs to be a psychology graduate. But best would be to consult an education abroad consultant who would know Universities that enrol any graduates in the psychology course.
Please note only in India any graduate can pursue a masters in psychology.
In terms of the job opportunity. It would depend on.your specialization.
A clinical or counaeling psychologists can find employment in hospitals, clinics, polyclinics, consultancy, schools, associate with team of doctors and or psychiatrist or begin on their own.
Please note that now to claim yourself as a clinical psychologist one needs to be minimum M.Phil qualified.
An industrial psychologists is employed in.corporates and works in sync with the HR department. Mainly involved in testing of new recruits and training and development.
As a guidance and academic counselor, you can find employment as a career counselor.
Choice is yours.
