Due to the Bank Expansions every year there are many job openings in the Banking Sector. The Candidate who aspires to make a career in the Government Finance Sector for them banking is one of the Best Career option.

There have been a great career opportunities in both the Private as well as Public Banking Sector

 

The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.

The educational eligibility for Bank Clerk and Bank PO Exam (both) is the same as follows-

1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any of the stream from a recognised university or a student who are in the final year of the degree and waiting for their results are also eligible to apply for the Bank Exam.

2. Nationality - Indian

3. Age- 20 to 30 years; Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for Disabled person.

You need to prepare on the following areas for the exam-

1. English (Vocabulary, Grammar,Comprehension,Articles,Idioms and Phrases, One word substitution etc.)

2.Reasoning

3.GK (Newspapers, Magazines, Periodicals etc)

4.Quantitative aptitude (Interest, Percentage etc)

Refer the NCERT school books or competitive Bank Preparation books by the writers like Agarwal etc.
