Hi Parth,
As far as preparations for CA is concerned, you need to be sincere with the time dedicated towards the study.
Please note, that as students have earlier said CA requires you to put in the whole day, but I would suggest that fix up certain time and dedicate it towards a full time preparation. More importantly know your subject matter and not just study something blindly. If concepts are well understood then solving or understanding the problems would never be an issue.
Also taking help of an established CA who is working in the field, plays an important role during preparations. At the sametime, the course requires students to undergo an article ship or industrial training for a period of 3 years. Take advantage of it. Join a CA firm or work under a CA and get to know the basics keenly. Ask questions and try solving issues on your own rather than waiting for others to solve the problem.
Be more practical oriented. Practice is the key too.
I am sure you are aware of the route to CA.
But still do check the website, as apart from the route to AC, they also have sections which says how a student must prepare.

Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
Dear Aspirant,
Nice to know your aspiration to become a Chartered Accountant.
Doing Chartered Accountancy requires you to spend quality time in studying, understanding the concepts and lot of reading & practice.
Preparing for Chartered Accountancy course has to be time bound and you should be able to manage your time well.
Enrolling yourself with a good coaching institute is recommended if you feel, you will not be able to discipline yourself for studies and do not have the guarantee of distractions around you.
While studying remember that do not skip any topic since the exams are competitive.
Do not get disheartened if you fail, since failing is a part of competitive exams. Ensure that you study very well for each attempt that you need not worry about failing.
Best wishes
