Hi Renu,
Please note IAS, is a civil service exam, and minimum requirement is being a Graduate with minimum 50%.
You could be working and could also apply for the course.
But before that, you need to clear the written exam followed by personal Interview and Group discussion.
The written exam can be a subject that you have Graduated in or any language paper, you can choose Hindi as well.
But knowing English is equally important.
As far as Group discussion is concerned, Reading is essential, everything right from Politics to History to current affairs to sports to health etc. Not only reading but being able to articulate it and discuss it without being argumentative is important. For Personal Interview, get ready with simple day to day questions, but answering them being witty is essential.
But, being working, dedicating time for IAS preparations would be difficult. Since IAS, would require the whole day. So how you manage your time is essential.
