I always wanted to be a Civil Servant (IAS) but somehow I couldnot do it & now after wasting my 2 years after bank preparation, I don't want to waste my time anymore since preparing for IAS took time (2-3 years easily). Now I want to do job as soon as possible.

You have studied for Civil Services Exams (CSE)/IAS for some 2 to 3 years and then you have also tried for Banking Jobs and now you are saying that you need a job easily. From your query one would easily come to understand that you have studied for long period for competitive exams including CSE/IAS and Banking which in another way clearly depicts, you have got diverse knowledge in diverse subject such as aptitude, Science and Technology, humanity subjects including Economics and sociology, national-international affairs; this kind of knowledge will help you analyze your own interests and find the suitable job accordingly though with the help of Career Counselors.

Your experience and the lot study, you may not estimate, but can help you to crack certain exam in competitive exam field. It all requires dedications, confidence, and belief in none other than but you.

Is it your final decision to try something another like changing or switching to a new field accepting a job whatever you get in a hurry as you seem in and desperate to be in a job as soon as possible? I have told you earlier that as long as it is an informed decision based on the facts and other practicalities, you must go forward with that but the caution is, be determined with new decision and stick to it.

Yes, if the things don’t go in an expected way and if we feel like here is the pause and the moment to switch over then this can be a wise decision I would say. So go ahead. And even after switching to a new job you can have hands tried sometimes on relevant exam occasionally as you studied for so long and that knowledge would never go waste.
