Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree in journalism/mass communication is required to pursue a career in this field.
Eligibility to Study Journalism after 12 or after graduation:Minimum eligibility for Bachelor degree in journalism is 10+2. Some institutes also provide one year certificate courses in journalism for which eligibility is 10+2.
For Post graduate degree courses, minimum eligibility is a Bachelor degree in journalism with 55%. However, for post graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication, graduation in Journalism is not mandatory. Only few institutes accept only Journalism graduates for post-graduation courses. Usually, any graduates can apply for masters' course.
