Why at this stage you wish to pursue a course?.
Please note, psychology or counseling is more of a practical course rather than just theory. Hence you would have to run around for practicals quite often. Also to practice as a clinical psychologist the minimum qualification required is an M.Phil. So if you are ready to pursue a M.Phil only then go ahead with the course.
Anyways as such correspondence from IGNOU is a good choice.
