Anyways was mass media your plan from the beginning or you just decided on it.
You can opt for mass media course after 12th science too. As any 12th pass student is eligible for this course.
In terms of shifting from science to humanities, even if the option is available I would say "NO". Since 12th is important, shifting to humanities would involve new subjects and most importantly you have misssed the basics studied in grade 11th. Although you could skim through the subjects and put in all your efforts and succeed. But I am not for it.
Rest is your choice.
