Hi Rahul,
May I please ask you, how did you conclude the future prospects of CA, just after clearing the CPT, entrance exam.
Onlky when you undergo an article-ship under a CA, authorised by the institute of CA, can you conclude its prospects etc. Sorry to say, but it is too early for you to conclude. I would say you to go ahead and pursue IIPC, and then probably form your conclusion., Or rather meet an established CA in your nearby locality and get your doubts cleared.
As far as the MBA is concerned, please note there are many MBA graduates, and hence finding a job is difficult. So unless and until you graduate from a reputed B-School a degree would be of no use to you. And please note just being an MBA qualified graduate would not be very helpful initially, because you may lack expertise in the area, as well as learning the managerial skills is a on going process.
So patience would be the key to build a successful career, not just concluding the future prospects in a year or so.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck....
Dear Aspirant,
YOU ARE MISGUIDED by somebody or may be you yourself are making some assumptions or may be you have read something somewhere which has made you pass that judgement about the job aspects for Chartered Accountants.
You have cleared the CPT and that means you definitely have the aptitude to start studying Chartered Accountancy course.
Chartered Accountants are very well respected and are into a niche domain of accounting, taxation, audit. Job prospects for Chartered Accountants have never been bad and are definitely good for future too.
Leaving Chartered Accountancy course and going to MBA is a very BAD decision. You can do MBA after completing Chartered Accountancy and while doing a job.
MBA and CA are two different career personalities and CAs are superior to MBAs passed out from average BSchools.
I strongly suggest you NOT to think of changing from CA to MBA.
Best wishes
In order to post replies to the question: "I am a CA student and have cleared the entrance cpt but do not see any job aspects in future. So I'm thinking of changing the stream to MBA.And wanna to qualify CAT .will it b correct??"
