Hello Harsh

For technical degree like B.E./B.Tech. one should complete twelfth from science stream with PCM group. Being a commerce student, you will not be eligible for the same. Why are you thinking about career in IT  at this satge? Have you developed interest in programming language? If it’s only about interest in this field, you can pursue courses on C, JAVA, LINUX etc. from private institutes along with your graduation from commerce field.  You can also go for BCA, MCA course.

If you are thinking from salary point of view then there are many nice options like CS, ICWA etc in commerce field.

All the best

Dear Aspirant,

By your question, it is definite that you are very confused and do not know the basics of course eligibility parameters.

If you want to go to Engineering, I would suggest you to go for engineering in Computers/IT on the basis of 10th and join a Diploma Engineering course (polytechnic).

Commerce 12th std will not be eligible for any engineering in any college in the world.

Please re think on your decision to go for CS BTech.

I would strongly recommend you to appear for the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide.com. This psychometric test will ascertain which career option you are suitable for. This test will judge your aptitude, interests, inter personal abilities, etc. After that you can speak to me through this system.
