Dear Aspirant,
Your question directly indicates that you have made a mistake in choosing engineering as your career.
By scoring low marks and reaching the third year is not a good sign at all. Dreaming of further studies abroad seems very difficult in your case since your academics are really not worth considering by a foreign university.
I think now that you are in the third year of engineering, thinking of or suggesting you to leave engineering and do another course which is actually suitable to your aptitude and interest would not be possible since it will be like starting from zero again.
I feel you should continue with engineering and pass the degree with minimum 50%. This you should manage any how. After that you can think of changing the career path altogether by doing a course based on your liking, interest and aptitude.
I suggest you to buck up yourself and try and be positive and hopeful of a good career. All is not lost still. You will be able to do a very good career inspite of all the history.
Best wishes
