Dear aspirant

Thank you for approaching counsellors at CareerGuide.com. Aeronautical engineering is an excellent option and that too at Madras institute of technology MIT Chrompet Madras. MIT is ranked second at anna university colleges list and this is definitely a very best choice to study aeronautical engineering.
Madras Institute of Technology Chrompet also has high recognition in India and world wide and students who study bachelors in engineering from this institute are well placed in India and worldwide. Students who study here are also highly preferred by universities in USA like Cornell, Harvard and Stanford to study MSc Aeronautical engineering.

Studying Aeronautical engineering at madras institute of technology chennai is the best choice and please go ahead with it with no doubt. But there are some regulations to study there and i write about it here.
  • You should compulsory study maths up to 10th class
  • You should compulsory study maths in 11th and 12th class too and your percentage in mathematics should be minimum 90% You can study from any board of education like the ICSE/ CBSE/ State boards but anywhere you study maths should be one of the subjects.
  • Should have written AIEEE All India engineering entrance exam and should have obtained a very high rank at least in top 250. Else you can also appear for IIT JEE exam and with a high national rank you can apply for a seat here at Madras institute of technology.
  • If you have not appeared for IIT JEE/ AIEEE exam then you should compulsory sit for the state level entrance test. State of tamil nadu runs anually a state level entrance test for engineering and appearing in this test you should have a high percentage preferably above 90%. If you are from General category a score of 90% and above is highly mandatory considering the tough competition to study here and as well their second rank in Anna university list of colleges. If you are from a reserved category then you should get a minimum of 85%. Apart from this entrance test score they give a higher weightage to over all 12th standard score. If you score above 90% in 12th class your chances to study here are high.

Apart from this you can also study at Hindustan institute of technology, Guindy Anna university campus as well as they both are also equally reputable. Especially HIT - Hindustan institute of technology is very famous for its aeronautical course through out chennai. All the best.
