I am biochemical engineer should i go for mba or mtech.?

Actually i am confused because i m interested in doing mba in finance but everyone says that after biochemical engineering i must pusue mtech? what should i do?

Hi Mrinal,

Though seeing your qualification even I would have suggested you to do an M. Tec., but when you say you have interestin Finance then I would say you should definitely go for MBA in finance. You should follow your interest and go for the same. But first before opting for MBA in Finance I would say do considerable research over the kind of job you will have to do and where do you see yourself after 10 years and only then decide what you want to do.
Remember you should follow your heart and do whatever makes you happy because the chances of success are very high then and finally when your loved ones see you happy they will ultimately be happy.

Dear Aspirant,

Once you do your MBA, your Engineering degree, money, efforts and time will go waste. In future when you go for jobs, your Engineering will not be counted and MBA Finance is what you will have to sell.

Are you sure you want to go for MBA Finance? Why are you interested in Finance? How come you got to know that Finance is what suits you in your career? Please do not decide MBA just because someone is telling or you read news about how MBAs are earning.

To be best sure of what suits you for your career, I would suggest you to undergo an online psychometric test from CareerGuide.com which will help you understand yourself in respect of your strengths, weaknesses, emotional quotient, etc. and will exactly tell you which stream is good for you.
