A very very interesting field of study you have chosen.
Since Clinical Research is a complete Research oriented field, please note that here you would be restricted majorly in the laboratory trials and would be surrounded completely with formulations and research journals.
If you are ready for that, then you could opt for Clinical Research field.
Please note that in layman's term, Clinical Research is a process of inventing a new formulation with the help of trial on animals followed by trials on humans.
As far as scope is concerned, please note that Research though is doing good in India, but still we lack basic amenities required to carry full on research work.
Whereas scope for Research is excellent abroad.

Future of Clinical Research:
Clinical Research is growing field and expected to grow in coming year in India. It has a good scope in India. Clinical research is a scientific field that assess the impact, risks, benefits and efficacy of medicines or a medicinal product. Clinical trials are conducted before the launch of any new products in the market. The research organizations/institutes or pharmaceutical companies carry out the tests.
I believe it is a good time to become part of this fast growing industry. You can work in pharmaceutical companies or clinical research laboratory or research organizations.
