Greeting of the day!!
You are standing on the cross road of your career and thus its obvious that there would be confusion in your mind. Subject Selection or Stream selection is one of the most important decision which would have impact on your life.

For Any Student who want to select subject in Class XI you should look for answer to following questions

Interest : Identify the interest you have, the more clearer you are about the area you would like to do your studies and make your career the clearer the decision to take and stream would be

For Example : If you like to work with machines and like to explore technologies and invent things science would be a career stream for you, but if you want to play with numbers and do analytically jobs then commerce could be good option for you.

Career Path : Lot of People want to work in offices and not on shop floor or factories if you are having any such priorities than it would be better to do research on the career which provides you suitable path.

Scope : You have to also consider the fact that if you are choosing a career which should not have very long time to complete studies and at the same time should provide you with sufficient scope to work and grow.
Thus you can decide on any of the tradition avenues like

Science : For careers in Medicine/Engineering/Research/MBA etc
Commerce : for Careers in CA/CWA/CS/CFA, MBA
Arts : For Careers in Fine Arts, BA, Literature etc

Apart from this you can think of any other career stream like designers/Mass media etc. the most important point to decide your career is to ensure that you decide as per your interest.

There can be one more limitation which you might have to face is the % of Marks which you would have obtained in class X. If the % of Marks are less you might not be able to get science in some of the schools. thus do take care of this point as well.

The Last suggestion would be meet certain people who are Engineers/Doctors/CAs/or experts in their respective field which would provide you good understanding of Various areas.
