Hi There,

Selecting a specialization is equally important like selecting a stream which eventually leads you towards your career in future.

Firstly here I would recommend you to do a complete research on all the available specializations in the Engineering stream.
Research on what each specialization needs in terms of skills and what is the job role it involves and at the same time its future scope and industry where all you can work.

Secondly, if you could meet the professors of the college and or Seniors from various specialization, they could give you a first hand opinion of what each specialization entails
Thirdly, nothing better than meeting professionals working in the industry. If you could get in touch with them, you would definitely have a fair idea and can choose accordingly.

In-case you are still confused, then please note that the best option would be Mechanical engineering. Since Mechanical is considered to be the King of Engineering specialization and it entails every other sub-field and opportunities exists on all industries.

Hoe this helps.
Wish you good luck...

Dear Aspirant,

Confused which to choose among so many streams in Engineering is not a problem at all and you need not be worried.

Engineering stream should be selected based on your strong subject in your 12th level.

If you like Physics too much and Maths, then Mechanical Engineering would be best.

I would alternatively and strongly suggest you to appear for Engineering Branch Selector Test available with CareerGuide.com which is a psychometric test. This test will help you decide and know which Engineering stream suits your aptitude.

Best wishes
