Hello Dear Friend...

Well first of all why to be confused in chosing a right career??? you should always go in a direction in which you know you will have fun...and you will enjoy working in that field....money is a second part..give priority to satisfaction...

So if you think that you really love to be an Advocate than please go for an LLB and I would tell you what are the courses available and what are the scopes after completing the LLB....

First of all...Try to complete you 12th with good marks and search for a National Law University in your area since I dont know from where r u I can not suggest any law school to you....

There are twqo kind of LLBs are done in India, (1) one is for 3 years and (2) the seond is for 5 years...the three years LLB can be done after graduation...and the 5 years LLLB can be done after completing 12.

The value of 5 years LLB is in demand these days and the scopes are far better than 3 years LLB.

While doing LLB please please please do enroll yourself in any of the Diploma or Certificate course in law..there are many like Dimploma in Cyber Laws, Dimploma in IPL, Dimploma in Business Law, Contract Law, Legal Writing..etc etc...make sure that every years you complete at l;east 2 diplomas or certificates depending upon the availability in your school and your interest in the subject....if you do so..at the time of completing your LLB you will be having 10 different diplomas in your beg with the LLB degree....which means a lot for any of the organization who would be happy to hire you...

Second thing if you do not want to do a job after LLB there is always a court where you can practice individually and earn more than what you earn in your job....but in order to do so...you need to understand one thing that is...every year in a vacation while you are doing LLB you should attend court or you should join any advocate for an internship program...if you do so you will have a good practicle knowledge of what you gaind theoratically...so you will be having at least a knwledge a which can make you stand in a court on your first day...

Apart from all these above there are also things and courses which you can do by going to abroad but agani if you can do so much in India than why to go Abroad...

I hope my answer was to the point of your question have satisfied you...

Thanks,
Ravi

Hello My Dear Career Aspirant,

I understand that you are from a Science background and have done HSC with PCM subjects and wished to do engineering, however due to dislike of physics, you did not opt for engineering and now you are looking for other courses which can make and take your career in the rigth direction.

Your case is unique and I will surely try to guide you. I am thank ful to you for approaching CareerGuide.com for seeking guidance and advice on your unique and critical career query.

LLB as a career option:

Since you said you do not like physics and there fore did not opt for engineering, you can still do your career and get successful.

Law is a fantastic areer option and with the increasing complexities and laws and regulations in the country for almost every sector, legal professionals are very much in demand and are getting paid handsomely. Due to the chaning dynamics, specialisations in legal field are also coming up and very much demanded by corporates and government agencies.

I would like to ask you how did you arrive at Law option for your career? Is there any body in your family in to this background and occupation? I am curious to know about this. Or is that you have a personal liking towards law careers?

Choosing the right option:

I would suggest you to under go a systematic psychometric assessment test, in order to make your self aware of your own capabilities, abilities, interests, passion, likings, personality, etc.

Please let me tell you that knowing all these are very important especially when you have already chosen a particular field of science till your HSC and now you wish to come out of the science stream completely and pursue a hard core commerce realted career. While shifting careers from stream to stream, you should be pretty sure and confident that the new career stream which you are choosing is really suitable and best for you for long term.
