If currently you are working as a financial planner, than definitely you have a educational background of finance field only.then only you can work as a financial planner as it is not a easy job to do without any basic knowledge and expertise in the field. I think if you want to diversify your career you need to go in same field but not as financial planner but so many other options are there like as mentioned below:

  • Financial Advisor
  • Financial analyst
  • Investment analyst
  • Finance manager
  • Portfolio manageretc

These all above job title and positions are related to finance field and knowledge, you can choose any of the above if you think you can do justice to that profile and can deliver excellently your work what ever comes to your way.

I am currently working as an financial analyst in my company after doing my MBA in finance specialization.
I am having more than three year of working experience and knowledge in the same field. I my daily working life I am doing lot many tasks assign or not assigned, directly or indirectly to me. I considered Everything coming to me as a learning and take everything in positive manner to excel in my field and area.

I think if you want to diversify your career all the above option only will work well for you as per your background and knowledge skill set.
Apart from above if you want to go in some other field or area than you need to have some basic knowledge or background from that field. In that case we need to know what is your educational back ground. Where your skills set lies and which areas can be taken as a option to diversify your career.
