School Teacher: You can do BEd after BA and pursue MEd or start working in school. For permanent position in Government school, many States conduct Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). You must clarify that exam.

With BA History as a qualification, you can get teaching jobs only. Pursuing MA History and then going for NET/SET or BEd qualification is recommended.
You can change your career track after BA History, may be pursuing MBA or MA Psychology, etc.
You may also take up coaching for UPSC exams and aim for government service.
