Its really great to see your aspirations developed right in the first year of your MBA degree. As you have mentioned your desire to become a human resource manager in the future, it is highly necessary you specialise in either of these elective modules: Human resource management or Organizational behaviour

If your MBA offers human resource management, please elect that module to study as your main elective. Studying this module as part of your MBA degree is essential to embark on a career within the human resources. Companies generally require you to possess any sort of certifications in human resource management to be able to work in that field and the MBA with HRM will do enough good to you in your future placement. However there are many other kinds of certification that you may also consider to top up your knowledge and become a HR professional once you start working in the field of HR. So for now, first complete your MBA degree with HRM and pass out. If your college offers you to complete a summer internship/ summer placement during your second year of your MBA, pleas emake use of it. Try to apply for a three month internship in any of the companies in the HR division. Lots of recruitment agencies will be happy to select students for summer placement and you have a very high probability of being placed with one of the recruitment agencies. However placing in good MNC's is also easy if your college has contacts or tie-ups, and you also possess very good GPA in your MBA. Doing the internship will help you understand what it is like working in the HR field and will also keep you on good stand when you are applying for full time job post MBA. As you would already gained work exp while doing the MBA, companies would come forward to hire you.

So in the beginning you would start a full time role in the "recruitment" section of human resources. Later on you will go revolving around every section of the department and within three years you will gain expertise and become a "Manager of human resources" of that company.

In case your business school syllabus also offers you "Organizational behaviour" course, please accept to read that module too as it is the latest mirror of human reosurce management. If you pick this module and then work in human resource department, you have high chances of working as a soft skill trainer, employee motivation speaker, training and development, HR startegy roles and in fact the HR leadership roles too.

Hope this helps. My best wishes to your Hr career hourney.
