Hi Gaurav,
Good to see that you are interested in studying further. But why shift focus from engineering to finance.
Anyways thats a personal choice.
You would have to prepare for the MBA entrance exam, so choice is yours.
Since exams are likely to be held during November to February. Preparations begin early. You could join coaching classes to help you prepare for the entrance exam.
As far as job is concerned, if the job is in the Finance sector, then I would suggest, you continue with your job. Just jumping into management without having any knowledge would make you loose your interest. Also gaining an experience will give you an edge over freshers, once you complete your MBA.
In-case if you are performing well, and company wishes to retain you or you wish to retain the job, you could opt for a correspondence MBA program. The other advantage of working is you would be exposed to the market, and would know about different courses that are in demand and has a better scope than an MBA.
But there are students who wish to complete all their studies before getting involved with a job. If you are amongst them then would suggest, you complete your MBA and then begin the work career
I have laid down the options for both the ends.
Choice is yours.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
In order to post replies to the question: "i am done with y engineering got a job should i go ahead or should i go for further education am intrested to get a mba in finance sooo please do let me know what to do! thankyu"
