I am enrolling as a Mechanical Engineer in Mumbai. I have just finished my second year. I want to change my line because i am not interested into this field. I was looking into the commerce branch. What is the most logical approach?

Dear Aspirant,

You can get admission to First Year of BCom based on your 12th Science marks.

What is the reason of your dis interest in Engineering? At first place how did you finalise Engineering stream? It appears that you had a craze for being an engineer.

Most logical approach in your case would be not to any further mistakes and reversals in your career. I strongly recommend you to check whether you are really suitable for commerce and why not for Arts? I would strongly recommend immediately the Ideal Career Test from careerguide.com. This psychometric test will judge your interests and aptitude together and suggest you an ideal career choice for long term. Answer the test honestly.

Commerce has good career options, but choosing randomly will be a risky affair.

Best wishes
