Hi Vaishnavi.. Animation is one of the best and different course to pursue. It is better to pursue animation course than engineering if you are more interested in animation. You can build a successful career too, after the completion of the course.
Leading institutes in this field are Zee institute, Vogue institute, Lovely Professional University, Manipal university etc. Animation course is not costly always and everywhere. Institutes like Lovely Professional University is offering courses in Animation field with affordable fee like BSc in Design Multimedia/ Graphics/ Gaming and B.Design in Multimedia and Graphics. These courses will help you to specialise in any of the animation field and to be creative. The animation courses here are less expensive than the engineering course. Besides that, the univerity is offering scholarships too to the students based on their score in 12th or in university tests conducted by the university for eligibility and scholarship. If you have a good performance in theses tests or in non-curricular activities, you may can pursue the animation course with an amount of less than 30000 per semester.

Better continence your parents and do your course based on your interest . some of the private university like LPU offering lot of scholarship based upon the 12th marks / LPUNEST (own entrance exam) from 10000 to 35000 . Animation course fee also reasonable after scholarship
