Dear career aspirant

Welcome to mea career guide
We guide you through to a proper career

I am a clinical psychologist, educational psychologist and career guide. Because of my profession as a consultant, I come across so many young people with the same problem. That means you are not alone.

You selected mechanical engineering as a career after considering so many factors at the time of selection. You spend a lot of money and energy studying and passing the exams. You again had a lot of difficulties in finding a job with a satisfactory salary packge. Then you gained experience in that field working. Experience is knowledge. Knowledge of the intricacies of mechanical engineering. Four years experience can never be under estimated. And at this juncture you want to change the field? Never acceptable on my side.

You must learn to think positively. Here I am taking a little bit freedom to scold you. What ever may be the circumstances, please do not change the field. Your experience and the efforts you took shall be simply vanished. Knowledge remains and can be utilized in other sectors. But you leave the whole field related company itself, that also is of no use.

Let me suggest you not to leave the field altogether. Be a mechanical engineer throughout your life. But definitey you can change your job atmosphere. If you do not like manufacturing sector, prefer operational or services sector. Even you can do MBA and concentrate on management of organizations with mechanical engineering base.

Hope this answers your query.
Good luck.
