First of all - come out of so-called campus placement. I've seen that most of the drives are fake, conducted by agents or consultants, or by colleges themselves to fool students.

Now, what next. As you think you are good in Java and C++, these two are different programming lines. C++ will be of help to you if you are into hardware side (and trying to connect hardware through software) while java can be of help if you want to create some end user software applications. Basic knowledge of none of them will be of any help to get a job or internship. So you need to create a live project in c++ or java to showcase your knowledge to the prospective recruiters.

- knowledge of RDBMS
- knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of PHP and HTML5
- Knowledge of XML and JSON

If you have good knowledge of HTML5 and PHP, chances of getting job and internship are higher as compared to knowledge of Java.

- your soft skills (for interview preparation)
- your resume and cover letter (very important - as recruiter will see these two documents before you, so DO NOT underestimate the importance of these two documents)

After this, start applying for the jobs using power of the internet. You can use

- job portals
- company websites
- online groups
- social media, such as linkedin and gloassdoor

All the best for a great career. You can reach me for more details anytime.

Dear Friend
Thank you very much for contacting . As you have mentioned your current status which sounds good. Pursuing from PTU college is also a good stand though placement facility is not there I know, you have to work out on your own and this is not so difficult do find a job if you are a potential candidate. I can say you have all these elements to claim the best fit in the job prospective and aslo for the higher studies. You are doing the right job as you have mentioned that you have already planed C++ java which indicates your preparation and seriousness. Your concern regarding the future placement is justified as we know the situation in job market whether it is academics or industry everywhere a tough competition is found where potential candidates are challenging each other for the limited number of positions. The ration between the job availability and number of potential candidates is not balanced in our country, we all facing the scarcity in terms of opportunity unlike any other developed country where social security code is provided to the citizen in terms of employment, security and for a sustainable healthy life. We do not have such conduct due to the lack of resources and undefined policy by a large.

Anyway we need to groom ourselves as per the situation and try to find the entry in the suitable stream where you can give your best, though getting a job under such circumstances became a matter of chance.

Computer Engineer

Based on the statistics given into the above pasted graph which reflects the international scenario of job placement in a particular module of computer engineering . Take help of such study and plan your future training course in a particular module as your professional btech degree itself giving you the wholesome picture for each and every part of the studied course so take a step ahead and give your best to acquire the specialized skills. This course of action will enable you for the current requirement at industry level .

Let me tell you that we avoid a basic question regarding the placement in industry which is sort of lacking in awareness at early stage of career, you need to ask yourself that why recruiter will recruit you how you will be the best contributor among the all applicants applied for the same job. You need to develop your profile in such a way where you will be given due priority because of your specific strength.

Keeping all these things in mind give your best, you will succeed in your area of interest.
