Doing MBA from Finance stream will be beneficial for you. Tee are various entrance exams and these exams include questions based on various factors like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Interpretation Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
So why are you trying only for XLRI and not other top institutes as preparation will be similar for all the exams. Prepare for following exams that can lead you to top management institutes.
CAT - Common Admission Test – For admission to IIM’s
CMAT - Common Management Admission Test – For admission to all AICTE approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test - For admission to MBA programs in the Institutes affiliated with Symbiosis university's affiliated colleges
All the best
I think you are too much thinking to add qualifications. Please understand that CMA is a professional course and getting into a job instead of doing MBA would be better and highly recommended.
Doing MBA just after CMA will not help you much since CMA is superior than MBA at the fresher level. MBA would help you more in terms of growth and salary increase when you have completed atleast three years of work experience. After taking work experience, you can also do MBA through Executive mode or distance mode.
