Hey Mohit,
What you are facing is a tough decision. Because once you are in a particular course, your options to come out of it become limited! For computer science, you can take 2 paths: Engineering or regular Bachelors like BCA etc.
Now I do not know if you are preparing for Engineering or not but job security after Engineering depends a lot on the college. So you have to prepare seriously for Engineering.
For BCA or BSc Computer Science, the competition is less and most Universities will just see your 12th scores. But some like DU have their entrance tests as well. Some industry experts from the IT industry have suggested that IT recruitments in the future might depend on Masters degrees and Bachelors degrees might not be sufficient. That can be true especially when you must have heard about the latest job losses in the IT sector.
Now, if you are not sure about Computers or what you should go for, then you need to get yourself assessed on your aptitude, personality and interests. You have some nice questionnaires on this site as well. The results will help better understand yourself and make a better choice.

Hi Mohit.. You have to follow your interest always, especially in the case of career and course. Computer science is a good discipline for higher studies. You can pursue courses like BSc in Computer Science or BCA etc. You may also can go for BTech in Computer Science if you are interested in Engineering
