From you query, I understand that you wish to pursue post graduation. Firstly I would like to tell you that this is a very good decision you have thought of. Choosing the right post graduation amidst the challenging job environment, salary expectations, family responsibilities, is not at all easy and its very natural for students to get confused on this. So please be relaxed and do not feel that only you are facing this confusion, there are many students who face such confusions atleast once in their career life.

You are confused whether you should pursue MCA or MBA or MSc or IAS or a job. Considering your BSc Computer Science background, according to me, what would suit you the best is 'MCA'. I would not suggest you an MBA or MTech or MSc taking into consideration the type of candidates recruited in the Info.Tech industry today. BSc Computer Science plus MCA is a very good educational combination and can earn you a good salary and give you the required career growth. Looking at the Info.Tech industry there is a lot of scope and thrust for research, innovation and development and with your computer science background coupled with MCA.

Further I would also suggest you to undergo the psychometric test from CareerGuide.com which will help you decide and know your capabilities, strengths, weaknesses. Knowing these things is very important for you to be able to decide the right career path so that you do not repent in future.

As suggested above if you complete MCA, after MCA you may also opt for MBA in Systems, etc. which will enhance your career to a greater heights and make you eligible for getting into a managerial role in the organisation. But I would not suggest MBA before completing your MCA. MCA should be the best career choice for you at this point of time.
