Here I would suggest that, at the end of the day if you are determined to make a career you must keep the spirit alive by making plans to achieve it. Focus on what is important at the moment. If family is a priority go ahead and take a job. At the sametime, save money for your future studies.

I can understand your dilemma! My suggestion is that you join a PSU (BTW, I like your confidence) and stand on your own feet! Definitely support your family.
In the meanwhile, draw up proper plans for what you want to do (You haven't mentioned it), and work towards it. Also, put aside some money for supporting your needs and your family's. This will help you to whatever you want to do; without too much pressure.
So, put your plan on the backburner right now; and go ahead and join a PSU.

In order to post replies to the question: "I can crack gate exam easily for getting into PSU's to support my family as financial condition is not good. But what I want to do in my life will take minimum 5-6 years and my family cannot support me for that long period. What should I choose?"
