Hello Kaushal,

We hope you have been doing well.
Thanks for approaching and writing us with your career query.

Congratulations Kaushal for completing your B.Tech with 77%.

Well Kaushal you have not mentioned in what yo have completed your B.Tech.

I would advice kaushal the first thing that you should do is that you make a proper Resume a Professional Resume because Resume gives a brief about you and its also the first and the last impression to the employer.
So get your resume developed from a Professional or you can also show it to the working professionals and get the things done that are to be changed in the resume.

Employer while recruiting a person do look for some of the skills in the employee like Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills,Presentation Skills etc. So try to improve this also if you are lacking in any of these.

While you can create your profile on various Job Portals this will give you a platform to reach out more Employers.

Do check the Employment Newspaper they have the vacancies across the country. You can find one for you in the Newspaper.

Keep on applying for the Jobs and keep on giving interviews. Don't give up..Keep on trying the Interviews experience may help you to land in a Good Career Opportunity. So Keep on trying keep your Spirit High.

These are some of the things that you can practice and would get a Job in your respective field.

I hope you find this information useful and helpful.

Wish you Good Luck.

Feel free to get in touch again.

Thank You

Warm Regards,
Prathamesh K.

Dear Kaushal,

Thanks for writing to us. You did not mention your specialization. Therefore, I am suggesting general recommendations for you:

Review technical skills: Today information technology is progressing so fast that everyday or other day there is new technology and knowledge is introduced. You need to review your technical expertise and improve your technical knowledge and skills in your preferred domain.
Suggestions to improve your technical knowledge and skills:
- You can do some certificate courses to sharpen your knowledge and skills.
- You can take up free online courses from coursera, alison etc. Some IITs too provide free online
courses.
- Learn from your senior/colleague who is working in the industry.
- You may talk with teacher who you think can guide you to improve technical knowledge.
- Learn about industry trends, and technical requirements from

Soft skills: Skills such as interpersonal communication skills, analytic skills are important.
Suggestions to improve your soft skills:
- Take help of counselor/psychologist
- Assess your skills.
- Assess your skills through peers

Prepare attractive resume: Having impressive resume is always an asset. Get your resume reviewed by professional and get it re-written.

Learn from past: Apply and appear for interviews. Learn from interviews and improve key skill sets and prepare for next job interview.

I understand how it feels to be jobless. Don't lose hope. Keep trying.

Best Wishes,
Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD
