However, since you have selected Chartered Accountant category to ask your question, I take it as you are a 12th Commerce pass student and wish to know about the future career in commerce and about Chartered Accountancy course.
From 1 July 2017, ICAI has restructured the entire Chartered Accountancy course. Each group will have four subjects. CPT is now called as Foundation course again as previous, which can be done after 12th.
There fore, you can take admission to the Foundation Course of ICAI based on your 12th marks. You will have to study for your first year degree of commerce as well for the Foundation Course of Chartered Accountancy simultaneously. This will require good time management, focus and dedication.
Apart from Chartered Accountancy, there are other options BBA LLB, Company Secretary, Cost & Management Accountancy. For these also, you can take admission based on 12th marks.
