Hello My Dear Aspirant,

Confusions over choice of courses is really difficult and therefore the need of counselling and advice. I am glad that you have realised this and approached us at CareerGuide.com at the very right time. I compliment you for this.

Just to tell you that I have been counselling many students from the commerce / management / finance field for more than seven years now. I am also into teaching for some years now.

You said that you are good at accounts!
The word 'Good' is most important my dear here...

It is always advisable that everybody should choose such a career in which one is good at and would enjoy doing it for whole life. Getting confused is natural and therefore its very necessary to judge, assess and ascertain the good, positive and strong aspects and points within one self. Always remember that when one does a particular thing which he / she is good at, then there is no need to worry at all about that thing since it becomes so natural and easy that one does not feel that he / she is doing something specific or different.

It is good that you have more than one option in front of you - computers. It is common among students theses days that they like computers very much and really wish and dream to make careers in it. However remember that which looks good or great may not be the same for every body of us since of the fact that we all are different in every sense. So never try to follow the herd just because some one got successful or is earning good and high salary and has a fantastic life style.

Considering what you have mentioned, I would suggest you to take up commerce and then a professional course like Chartered Accountancy or Cost Accountancy.
However it is always better to be sure, there fore I would also suggest you to under go a psychometric assessment test also available at CareerGuide.com which is downloadable and can be done at your home all by yourself. However just ensure that you are very honest and true to your self while answering the test, otherwise the results will not be true and a wrong career option may be suggested.

All the Best
