Hello There!

I appreciate that you have approached CareerGuide.com for seeking guidance and advice to your very much confusing career query. I would like to tell you that confusion is a very common phenomena in students and therefore you need not feel that you are only confused student. This is very natural that a student is not able to decide and choose the future career path.

Just to tell you about myself, I am an Educationist and have been into career counselling for students from the commerce / management / law / engineering streams for more than seven years now. I am also into teaching and laso have been writing articles and research papers on various topics including career management for reputed newspapers and magazines published across India.

From your question, I get to know that you are graduated in Interior Desigining and also Commerce. Now you would like to do an MBA either in Real Estate or Interior.

My Dear, you confusion level is a little bit high. You did both Commerce and Interior Designing and now wish to do an MBA from altogether another field of Real Estate. Please be informed that according to me there is NO MBA in Interior Designing available in any Institute of University.

Before choosing a career option, it is very important to know what is your strengths, interests, passion, liking, weaknesses, etc. This is very important since if one chooses a career option based on the above factors, his/her career gets successful. If not done so, then many people fail, get frustrated and depressed in their careers and then there is no turning back or gets extremely difficult.

There fore, I think you should definitely undergo Psychometric Assessment from CareerGuide.com. This test can be purchased online and can be done at your home all by your self. This test will exactly tell you all the above factors and then through one-one counselling session with a career counsellor, you will be shown the appropriate career option which is best suited to you according to the results of the psychometric assessment.

It appears to me that it would be good for you to do a course related to interior desigining. Real Estate is a good option and may be you can go for it, since your interior designing can be of help there very much.

Best Luck.

Hello Dear Friend....

First of all thank you for coming to CareerGuide.com and asking your query to us and it is our plaesure to guide you ad help you decide what is good for you..

Coming to your quetion I would like to clear your doubt by giving you option of doing MBA- It is very rare subject opted by student so awareness about the same is not there. But I am happy that you know about it and thinking to go for it.

As you did graduation in interiors better to go for MBA in interior only as BCOM you did only side by side through correspondence which is not good in long run perspective.

Better will be MBA in interior so please stick to your field and do not think of changing it to real estate or something, you will get good opportunities in the interior designing filed and can secure your future. In MBA you will learn the real time challenges and obstacles faced by other in same sector and how they tackel with it through some innovative ideas and techniques, it will really help you in future to grow and mark your presence.

Now a days it is in trend to get you house, work places, shops look trendy, classy and as suitable as per need of the space, so a huge demand is there for interior designers.

And in earning and job perspective also it is having high package and remunerations as compared to other jobs as a freshers.

Hope the above made you clear that you should go for MBA in interior rather than going for MBA in real estate, as it is best suitable option for you as per my idea and knowledge. But at the end

decision is yours and you need to think as per your preferences, hoping you will choose the right option for you and will definitely succeed in future.

All the best for your career and have a bright future ahead.

Thank you
