After reading your question i understood your problem very well, i Know you in big dilemma how to work in accounts and finance being a MCA, But I am happy to say not a problem at all, you can work as a accountant though you are did MCA after graduating from commerce back ground it si not an issue at all.




If you are good in accounts and finance and want to pursueyour career in that than there is no problem in that as it is important what you want to do not what is required to do. so if you getting job opportunities as a accountant go for it and move ahead with it. If you are not seeing anything in MCA better to go for accounts and finance.



Remember but as a graduate in finance you will get some clerical level work not like master degree holder level so do not think in that way, do not hold your mca degree as a constraint to get a job in finance and accounts filed, the only thing which will help to get a job in finance and accounts is your graduation degree in commerce.



To start your career go for the clerical level job also and after getting experience you can move high in ladder and side by side do some relevant courses in finance from distance like cost accounting tally knowledge etc which will add to your resume to work in finance and accounts sector and will increase your chance of selection.



But in case you are getting any opportunity to switch to mca as you have one more option too never wait just go for it, as said never miss any opportunity in life.
