Hello there,

There is nothing known as a good or better career. The career that you are satisfied in, in terms of work or proficiency is the best suited career.

My question to you is what made you decide to shift  to safety and health engineering?. Why di you feel it is a career you would be satisfied in?.

Before shifting I would suggest thorough research in terms of reading and meeting people working as safety and health engineer. Know what the job entails and whether you have those abilities. With your degree as a mechanical engineering, getting into safety zone will not be an issue, but you would be beginning as a fresher. Hope you are ready for this venture.

Wish you good luck...

Dear Aspirant,

How many years have you been working in your current profile and job? What is that is bothering you that you are thinking of changing to other domain?

I would suggest that your current job is also a critical job which is helping the company you are working for. If you are bored of the job, find out what is the real reason.

Yes, definitely Safety and Environment Engineering is a good option and you can definitely look at it as a change, however, you will have to learn it through a course first and then think of changing your job.

There are short term courses available also for Health, Safety, Environmental Science.

Best wishes
