I am assuming that you are looking forward to go for civil engineering as you have posted the question in this category.


You do not have to worry at this point of time as there is not much you can do. Also the most of the exams have gotten over. Also since you have dropped one year, you wouldn't be keen to waste another one in succession. I would suggest you to look for the colleges that you can apply with this score. A number of private colleges would be available to you for civil engineering as most of the colleges offer this branch and they often use jee score for the admissions.

Another thing that you can do is to apply for the colleges which do not use jee score. These colleges either conduct their separate test or they offer admissions on the basis of your 12th class percentage. Therefore you need to apply to those colleges separately. These are again the private colleges and follow separate pattern.

You may consider dropping one more year in case you really want to go in to a good college and do not want to end up in an average one. But in your case that may not be suitable as you have already dropped one year. In this case you need to take help of your parents and seek their guidance. You can also contact a career counselor and figure out what to do next. This will help you a lot and make things easy for you.

Again repeating the same thing that you should not get discouraged at this point of time and look for the opportunities that are left. In case you do not get civil engineering in any college you can also go for some other branch as per your interest and aptitude. I would suggest you to take engineering branch selector test at the homepage of this website so that you can be sure about which branch is the most suitable for you.
