Dear Aspirant,
What do you mean that you did not get success? Success in terms of what are you talking about? Is it salary, promotion, work profile, etc.?
I feel, by working for two years, you are asking too much and too fast. In the industry, you need some years to understand it and then excel.
Mechanical Engineering as a qualification is fine, but are you taking efforts to upgrade yourself after 2014? The world and industry are changing every year and are you adapting to the changes in real terms? Today the work force should also relearn and unlearn things. You need to learn more about the industry and work.
Again the same mistake what everybody does. Is MBA a magical stick that it will immediately change your career and give you what you unrealistically dream of? MBA would not help you immediately as an engineer if you wish to remain in the engineering field (technical field). You need to get atleast five years of experience in order to climb the management ladder and then an MBA in General Management will help. More than MBA, I would suggest that you should get certified in Project Management from PMI USA.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT is the key to a good career in mechanical industry.
Best wishes
Hi Rahul,
Just 2 years in the industry and with a graduation degree, you have set a high parameter of success for yourself.
Never the less, good it will help you strive for success. But mind you its too early. The first year goes in understanding the work and 2nd year is where you actually work. So to unleash your potential in the industry you should give minimum 5 years.

Hey Rahul,
Just 2 years in the industry and with just a graduation, you have set quite a high expectation for yourself. But in a way good, it will help you strive for success.
But 2:years is really short. Since it would take you the first year to understand the job and 2nd year is where you actually work. So to judge your success give yourself a minimum 5years.
Though MBA now is a trend to reach success, but looking at your fast judgment of success, I would say that you first give yourself sometime with your current job. Next self introspect by being practical, as to what is your aim for pursuing management and in how many years a target of success you wish to achieve.
Only then pursue an MBA. Because just being an MBA does not ensure position and being able to implemend managerial skills learnt.
Wish you good luck....
