Hi Darpan,

Very sad to hear that..... but the fact is also true that the job of chemical engineers is very taxing and they have to work around large-scale production equipment that is either indoor or outdoor. There are various types of hazards that one faces like Physical, Accident, Chemical, Biological, Psychosocial etc . Hence one is bond to get ill. Please get yourself treated from a good doctor as you have to keep up in good health to work, otherwise you will not be able to work for a very long time.

There are a lot of safety measures that should be adopted while working like, they are required to wear safety protective equipment, such as hard hats, goggles,steel-toe shoes etc.

If the problem is related to physical health get yourself treated from a good doctor and if it is related to mental health like stress then try and practice stress management techniques like meditation etc. You can try and look for a job that you think would be in relation to your field yet save you from the health hazards that you are facing right now. A job in management level will also help to reduce your the problem. So please try and look for the major cause of the problem first and then try to solve it.

Hope you get well soon

Best of luck!
